Types of Visas
Common Working Visas:
There are multiple visas that allow you to work as an English instructor, but the most common type is the E2 visa.
E2 Visa South Korea:
- Standard working visa for individuals coming to South Korea as an English Teacher.
Visa Eligibility:
- Must be a Native English-speaker (English being your first language).
- Hold a valid passport from within one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Have completed and received either a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university within the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Must have an employer who is willing to sponsor your stay.

- (Apostilled) Clean Criminal Background Check
- (Apostilled) Academic Degree
- E2 Visa Application Form
- Signed Contract
- One Copy of Your Passport
- E-2 Applicant Health Statement Form
- Passport Photos
