Types of Visas

Common Working Visas:

There are multiple visas that allow you to work as an English instructor, but the most common type is the E2 visa.

E2 Visa South Korea:

- Standard working visa for individuals coming to South Korea as an English Teacher.

Visa Eligibility:

  1. Must be a Native English-speaker (English being your first language).
  2. Hold a valid passport from within one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
  3. Have completed and received either a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university within the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
  4. Must have an employer who is willing to sponsor your stay.

  1. (Apostilled) Clean Criminal Background Check
  2. (Apostilled) Academic Degree
  3. E2 Visa Application Form
  4. Signed Contract
  5. One Copy of Your Passport
  6. E-2 Applicant Health Statement Form
  7. Passport Photos
